My family loves this recipe and the most work you do is stir and break up the frozen potatoes.
Ingredients:
- One 28 oz. bag of frozen hash browns
- One 28 oz. bag of frozen potatoes o'brien
- One family sized can of cream of chicken soup
- One 32 oz. box/can of chicken broth
Recipe:
-Put the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth into the crock pot,
- Stir it up to remove as many big chunks as possible.
-Break the potatoes up in the bag, if it’s a solid mass.
-Drop the potatoes in.
-Put on low for 6-8 hours and you’re done!
My family serves this with cheddar cheese, bacon bit, and biscuits. It feeds 6 people (4 teens) with occasional leftovers. It freezes pretty well also, if you don’t want to eat it for days.
You can also substitute the cream of chicken with cream of mushroom and chicken broth for veggie broth to make it vegetarian. It tastes the same.
